In the Rooms: An Online Recovery Resources Community

“In the Rooms”  hosts support groups virtually, enables chat with other people in recovery in multiple pathways to recovery, and can help you connect with a recovery coach or find treatment. They offer 130 meetings online per week.

Sober Grid

Sober Grid provides an online, virtual support group. Using this app, you can track your recovery with question prompts, connect to others in recovery, and celebrate milestones by tracking your days in recovery.

Mood Mission

MoodMission is an evidence-based app designed to empower you to overcome feelings of depression and anxiety by discovering new and better coping methods.

Happify

Happify uses evidence-based concepts of positive psychology through games, mindfulness activities, and writing prompts to better cope with stress, negative thinking, and negative moods.

Sanvello

Over 3.5 million users rely on Sanvello to cope with stress, anxiety, and depression.  The app provides access to therapy and coaching, self-care tools, and a community that gets it.

DBSA Tracker

This app was created by the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance and allowed the user to track moods, thoughts, and manages graphs to show your providers how your mood and functioning has improved or gotten worse.  DBSA also operates an online community, and visitors can find local DBSA support meetings for in-person support.

Shine

Specifically designed with black, indigenous, and people of color in mind, the Shine app helps you create a daily self-care ritual, connect with a supportive and inclusive community, and meditate to better manage mental health.

Pride Counseling App

Individuals in the LGBTQ community suffer from mental health issues at a disproportionately high rate, and folks at the Pride App wanted to help.  Login to Pride Counseling and be matched with an online or in-person therapist that understands the unique needs and challenges of the LGBTQIIA+ population.

Insight Timer

This app provides talks and guided meditations from teachers, mindfulness experts, and psychologists. Insight Timer adds new guided meditations every day.  You can browse by topic or choose relaxation to enhance sleep.

Calm

The app is suitable for people who are new to meditation and has content for more advanced users.  One of the critical features of the app is sleep stories. There are over 100 bedtime stories for adults designed to help users unwind and fall asleep.

Aura

Aura is another online addiction recovery resource that allows you to slowly build on a mindfulness or meditation practice by starting with 3-minute meditations. Find thousands of empowering audio tracks on the app to help with sleep, empowerment, motivation, and relaxation.
